Formats

The format that fits your child

One-on-one

A dedicated tutor working with your child alone: the most focused, personalised format.

Pair learning

Two learners, one tutor: great for siblings or friends learning together.

Small groups

A small group of learners with one tutor, for a more collaborative classroom feel.

Why families trust it

Every tutor is vetted before they teach your child

Before a tutor teaches a single class on MiraEducate, we review their application, interview them, and ask them to demonstrate how they teach, not only what they know. We check a reference, and every tutor completes training before they start teaching. Throughout that process, this is what we look for:

Subject competence

Deep knowledge of the subject they teach, not the bare minimum to stay a step ahead.

Teaching experience

Knowing a subject and teaching it well are different skills. We look for both.

Communication

Can they explain the same idea two or three different ways, until it lands?

Technology skills

Confident and comfortable running a live online class.

Professionalism

Reliable, on time, and someone a family can trust with their child's learning.

A growth mindset

Willing to be coached, to adjust an approach that is not working, and to keep improving.

New tutors teach on a probation basis before a full, ongoing engagement. We check quality continually, not only when someone is hired.
